Whimsical “Hindu” Gurus and Their Pulpit Pronouncements

Whimsical “Hindu” Gurus and Their Pulpit Pronouncements

 Shrikant G. Talageri

I had started out on my blog-writing career in 2012 with my four articles on songs in Jhap Taal and Roopak Taal. For four years, these were the only articles on my blogspot. In 2016, I (along with several other anti-AIT scholars and writers) was classified as an “idiot” in a blog by a blog-writer, a Hindu Guru with apparently a devout following, who titled himself Manasatamgini – for refusing to accept the AIT! I wrote a detailed reply to it but found that no pro-Hindu journal on the internet was willing to publish an article against a popular “Hindu Guru”. The wonderful part of this was that it made me publish the article on 5 May 2016 on my blog, and after that my blogspot has become my own private publishing spot for writing articles free of editing and censorship by politically correct editors.

Someone today drew my attention to a tweet by another Hindu Guru. At least I assume he is a Hindu Guru since he apparently has over 47000 followers, and his twitter handle has the following to say:

@Mahesh10816

“Madhwa Sampradaya-Gargeshya Gotra - Rig Veda Sakha. ( Dharma – Artha – Kāma – Mokṣa ) Chant Hare Krishna & be Happy- independent voice- No party affiliation”

I don’t know why I am wasting time writing about such people who seem to see no need to do actual research by examining facts and data, and who prefer to give absolute freedom to their fertile imaginations to write any pompous nonsense out of thin air. Perhaps because the wide reach of the devout following of such the writers of such nonsense seems to make serious study and research redundant?

The particular tweet brought to my attention was as follows:

“The Zorastrians in Iran are descendents of Angira rishi. When River Saraswati dried up, people there had to move out ( Exodus) in various directions One team went North led by Kashyap muni One team went South led by Aghastya muni One team went West led by Angira muni. Their religious text "Zend avesta" has remarkable similarities with our Vedas" They worship" God of Fire " Agni Their God " Ahura Mazda ( lord of wisdom) is our Agni dev Will write in detaile: similarities between Zorastrianism & Sanatan Dharma when time permits”

Now where he get all this data showing that “The Zorastrians in Iran are descendents of Angira rishi” (i.e. Angiras); and that when “River Saraswati dried up”, three delegations of Vedic people migrated in three directions under the leadership of “Kashyap muni”, “Aghastya muni” and “Angira muni”; and also that “Their God Ahura Mazda ( lord of wisdom) is our Agni dev”?

Did he get all this knowledge in the form of visions as he sat (like Manasataramgini) chanting mantras in front of Agni?

[Incidentally, at least his claim that “Their God Ahura Mazda ( lord of wisdom) is our Agni dev” was apparently corrected in many comments which pointed out that Ahura Mazda is the equivalent of Varuna and not Agni].

On another issue, see also his incredible tweet on Israel:

“I sincerely wish Bibi @netanyahu should lose these elections. He has caused considerable harm to his own people, people in the region and the entire world as such. You can't erase one country and race from the face of the earth ( Iran ) Reconciliation and shared space is the need of the hour. Win- lose solution never lasts, win- win solution lasts longer. Bibi never wanted a negotiated settlement. Every time Iran and US were close to a deal , Bibi sabotaged it. He always wanted the region to be on the boil. Iran was ready to give up it's Nukes and permanently freeze it's military nuclear program but Israel wanted it's total destruction. Targeting international leaders is not diplomacy, it's assassination and murder Iran was a cornered cat but Bibi wanted it dead Let's see how people of Israel react”

I don’t know whether this man has the slightest idea of what is going on in the world. Yes, Islamists, Leftists and Christian Fundamentalists and other anti-Semitic (i.e. anti-Jewish) forces, who together control practically the whole of academia and media in the world, and control all major politicians, have been loud and vocal in their condemnation of Israel. But for a seeming Hindu Guru to vomit such bile is incredible.

See what he writes: “You can’t erase one country and race from the face of the earth”. There is only one country and one race in the world which countless other entities and countries all over the world have openly talked about “erasing from the face of the earth”; and that country is Israel and that race is the Jews. And Iran has been the most vocal in this respect (along with many other Islamic organizations and countries). This man thinks he can change black into white and white into black in one sentence by adding “(Iran)” to the above sentence. It is Iran which is pouring countless billions of dollars, and endless propaganda and men, into fundamentalist armies and militias on the borders of Israel with the openly avowed aim of “erasing Israel and Jews from the face of the earth”. All of Israel’s actions are only meant to try to prevent its own “erasure” by its haters (which category, it now appears, includes stray Hindu Gurus).

The point is not about whether he is for or against Netanyahu. The point is that his antipathy is not because he supports some other Israeli Jewish leader, but because he supports Iran (and perhaps the Palestinian militants)! And in all this tu-tu-main-main, the victors are the Arab citizens of Israel:

As I pointed out in an earlier article, the Muslim voters of Israel were around 14% in 1948, and are now around 21% in 2026. Israel may well be overtaken by the same fate as India and most of Europe in 50 years time! And, as in India, the courts in Israel are dominated by Leftist judges: recently (on 23 September 2026)  Israel’s Central Election Committee banned the Arab parties. But the Supreme Court of Israel (appropriately on 2 October 2026, the birthday of the Father of India’s Partition) overturned the ban. And today, these resurgent Arab parties are likely to get 19 seats or so out of 120 in the Knesset, and influence the formation of the next government of Israel: already Leftists in the Opposition (to Netanyahu) Bloc are calling for a joint government with the Arab parties. Vināśa kālē viparīta buddhi. And this is now (in 2026): what will be the case 50 years hence? Now that the anti-Jew coalition (of which Leftist Jews were always a part) has been joined by the Israeli Judiciary and “Hindu” Gurus…… !
